I wasn’t supposed to be here. Nobody from a town of 8,500 is.

A regular Aussie family. Real challenges.

I grew up in a small country town near Wagga Wagga and Albury-Wodonga. My parents split when I was a kid. Moved to the Gold Coast. Then Melbourne.

Working hard. Going backwards.

I worked construction jobs and took a city office job that went nowhere. That was just what you did. The cost of living kept climbing. My income didn’t. I remember driving to work thinking there has to be more than this.

Then I met my mentor.

He was running a multi-million dollar company at 23, and he got me into high-ticket remote sales. I had no idea what I was doing at first. But I was coachable. I put in the reps. Inside 12 months I was earning more than I ever had.

$50K a month in commissions. From anywhere.

Eventually I was closing over $50,000 a month in commissions, working remotely from wherever I wanted. I retired my mum. I travelled. I built a life that was genuinely mine.

Then everything changed.

My best friend, my soul brother and closest friend in personal growth and business, passed away in a motorcycle accident in Bali while we were on holiday together. I was heartbroken. It took me time to heal and reflect.

That’s when I started Closer Institute.

For the first time I was earning good money doing something I actually enjoyed. I wanted everyone in the same place I’d been to know this existed. That was for him. For everything we talked about building together.

Six years on.

Closer Institute trains everyday workers to become remote closers, places experienced salespeople into better remote roles, and recruits quality sales talent for business owners who are done wasting time on bad hires.
